The National MG Transformation Network

A consensus report focusing on improvements that could be made to the standard of care for myasthenia gravis patients was issued in 2023. One of the proposals to come from this report was the development of a transformation network. Read more about what this and how you can get involved.

A transformation network for myasthenia gravis is being developed by the Health Innovation Network (HIN). The aim of this network is to improve collaborative leadership across the healthcare sector, namely:
  • Encouraging crosstalk between clinicians, managers, and people living with MG. This will allow these groups to work together to address existing challenges in this system.
  • Enabling participants to form trusting relationships.
  • Encourage wide contribution.
  • Improve the existing equity in patient care.
