Our Kids Weekend returned in October and we were gifted with unseasonably warm weather as families had the option between Aztec Adventure and a tour of Cadbury World.

The Cadbury World tour was a huge success, as everyone was treated to free chocolate all day!

They were taken through the process of making chocolate as well as 'riding the Crunchie rollercoaster' at the 4D Chocolate Adventure.

There was time for a free run around Cadbury World (and to spend more of their parents' money in the shop!) before we went back to the hotel to enjoy the facilities.

At Aztec, dry and wet activities were available such as kayaking, sailing and raft building as we all as climbing the dreaded 40 foot climbing wall.

Parent Heather McCarroll said: "We had another great weekend at the myaware Kids Weekend. Thank you so much to all who put in a lot of time and effort into organising it."

Myaware received over £400 in kind donations over the weekend and we would like to thank everyone for making it such a fun and enjoyable weekend and we hope to see you all again, next year.

Myaware Kids is the support group for children with myasthenia and their families. We hold our weekend get-together so children with myasthenia can meet and forge friendships for life.
