Husband, Father, Grandad, Friend, Volunteer, Colleague, Shipmate, Golfing Partner... Nick was there for everyone, he was always willing to do anything for anyone, and he DID.

He touched everyone he knew with his gentlemanly ways, his selflessness, his caring nature, sunny disposition and wicked sense of humour. We all feel incredibly blessed to have had him in our lives. Nick was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis 3 years ago.

This rare, chronic auto immune neuromuscular disease weakens connections to the muscles and whilst it did not diminish his fighting spirit, it did weaken him.

Nick let it be known that he preferred to help others over personal floral tributes and, in keeping with his wishes, we invite you to help raise awareness of myasthenia by making a donation to the cause.
