Alexion, part of the Astra Zeneca Rare Disease Unit, is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and delivering life-transforming therapies for patients with severe and life-threatening rare diseases, one of which is generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG). Alexion is committed to patient centricity and in particular to understand and increase awareness of patients’ experience with their disease, how patients interact with their physicians, and how Alexion can be responsive to their questions and needs;

Alexion UK is organising an internal meeting on either Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th September to be held in person in Windsor and are seeking a person(s) living with gMG to share the patient views and experiences of living with gMG. This will be an internal meeting for about 30 – 45 mins and the discussion will take place in form of a chat between the Patient Advocacy Director and the person living with gMG. Some of the questions for the person living with gMG will be about their diagnosis journey, lifestyle and quality of life.

We envisage the total number of hours for this activity is 3 hrs (60 mins for preparation by online-meeting; to be present at the meeting for 90 mins; and 30 mins catch-up call after the meeting)  Participants will be paid a fee and travel expenses will also be covered

The final date for registration is Monday 19th September
