Do you want to be a part of #TeamMyaware at the London Marathon 2021?

The 2021 race has been delayed from April to October and will be an incredible event as we return to the streets of London. For years, dedicated fundraisers have signed up to brave the 26.2 iconic miles in our Capital City to raise vital funds to support people living with myasthenia.

Every year, we have a small amount of places available to raise funds for myaware and we receive more requests than we can allocate. We are committed to trying to ensure that as many supporters as possible are able to take up a place. However, we do allocate places first and foremost to:

- Runners who have myasthenia, or those with a connection such as family/friends with myasthenia.

- Runners who have returned their myaware Golden Bond questionnaire and applied through the public ballot

- Runners who can pledge to raise a significant amount of funds in order to support myaware. The minimum required is £1,650, but we are looking for much more.

Myaware will encourage, motivate and support each runner and help make the marathon race day as easy-going and stress free as possible. We’ll support you in your fundraising journey as you go out and fundraise.

We’ll also provide you with :
- A myaware running vest

- Fundraising hints and tips
- Charity literature

- Myaware sponsor forms

- Banners, collection boxes, balloons, t-shirts, etc. to support your events

- A dedicated local myaware Regional Fundraiser or Regional Organiser

- A thank you pack for the Marathon weekend

What do I do next?
Download the application pack here (link to downloadable application docs) and return the booking form, payment details and pledge form to [email protected] We will make a decision in the New Year at the time of the Public Ballot responses as to who is allocated a place to run in the event.
