MindSight Research are currently working together with our client to recruit participants for a usability study. The purposes of these studies are to get direct feedback from potential future users, understand their needs and get an insight into how they would find using the device our client is researching, which in this case is an autoinjector device which will be used to deliver a medication for those with Myasthenia Gravis.

The feedback from these sessions is used to ensure that the product brought to market is suitable for the intended users; this will include using their insights to make changes to the system to ensure the autoinjector device is as safe and usable as it can be for the intended users.

The reason it is important for us to speak to those diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis is because different conditions have different needs and characteristics that we'd like to understand further to ensure the device has been designed for those who it is intended for.

Participation will involve an in-person 60-minute session where you would be asked to handle the device and perform some simulated tasks. You would not be required to inject any medication.

Those participating would receive £130 as a thank you for their valuable contribution to the study.

The research sessions will be taking place at a research facility in Central London (EC2A) and we can offer reimbursement of travel costs (within a specific amount).

If you would prefer to attend with a partner, family member or close friend we can also offer them a chaperone incentive.
