Trevor Ranson

We are delighted to announce that Trevor Ranson has been elected as Chairman of myaware. Trevor takes over from Alan Stanley, who had been the chairman since 2014 and oversaw many positive changes including the rebranding of the charity.

Trevor was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis in 2011 and became involved with myaware when he was elected as a trustee in 2013. Trevor is looking forward to promoting myaware in every way he can and he is keen to build on the charity's recent fortunes.

We wish Alan every success in the future and we look forward to working with Trevor.

Members also overwhelmingly agreed to adopt the changes to the Articles of Association as well as electing Denise Birch, John Davies, Elizabeth McSheehy, Patricia Newlove and Jonathon Rio to the Board of Trustees.

Barry Gregory, David Hilton-Jones and Bruce McColl were re-elected.
