Join us for the 2018 Kids' Weekend!

This promises to be a fun-packed weekend at Condover Hall, near Shrewsbury, with activities and facilities for children with myasthenia, their brothers and sisters and parents or guardians.

Entertainment is included for the whole weekend. Organised indoor and outdoor daytime activities can include archery; fencing; high and low ropes; zip slide; laser room; indoor caving; and path puzzles. Kayaking could also be made available for a small charge if pre-booked. In the evening, children's entertainments (parents welcome) can include cinema, disco or camp fire activities.

Sailing or kayaking on the lake are available at a small additional charge, please indicate on your booking form if this of interest and we will advise you of costs.

All rooms at the hall have bunk beds and are en-suite. Please indicate on your booking if you require a ground floor room or if you need access to a wet room. You will need to bring your own towels for bathing and swimming.

A buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner are included so you can choose meals to suit your dietary needs. A small tuck shop is open later in the evening selling snacks.

Steve Bradshaw, myaware's benefits and welfare officer, will be on hand during the weekend to provide one-to-one advice sessions for families who would find this useful.

All children registered for the weekend must be under the age of 18.

All children attending will receive a free myaware Kids T-shirt, and adults can purchase one at £5.00 per T-shirt. Please indicate on booking if you would like to purchase one and we will be in touch regarding payment.

The weekend is free, but if you are able to make a contribution of £50.00 per family, we would be very grateful.

If you are struggling with travel costs, please contact Rita in confidence at [email protected] and we will do what we can to assist.
