Over the last 10 years myaware has granted over £1.6 million towards research into the myasthenias and as part of My Awareness Month 2023 we are delighted to share the impact of that research with you via our Research Impact Report 2023.

Throughout the years, myaware has funded projects that tackle different approaches in research. By covering so many types of research, the existing knowledge and understanding of myasthenia has grown for the benefit of those who live with the disease. The research that has been carried out also lays a foundation for the future. However, there remains many questions to be answered where myasthenia is concerned and myaware need to able to fund more vital research projects in the future.

Myaware receives no government or NHS funding and therefore is fully reliant upon the kindness and generosity of people like you to ensure that research continues.
