If/when you have the time could you take a look at the thread on this forum entitled 'Aging comorbidity and vitamin D' where he has posted his question? (Am guessing that you get email alerts to this thread that I am posting on now but might not get to see the aforementioned thread that Levitas started.)

Thought that this may be of general interest about Vitamin D deficiency causing reversible muscle weakness in two patients (without myasthenia gravis).

As a response to this very informative and interesting thread, I had my vitamin D levels tested recently - They were very low; I have ocular myasthenia and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. My GP has agreed that I should up my daily dose of vit D3 and calcium.
