One common symptom of myasthenia is a difficulty swallowing. This can make eating certain types of foods (for instance crunchy or stringy foods) very difficult to eat properly, it can even lead to choking/gagging on the foods.
If you experience this then soft foods are advised as an alternative. But often when people hear the phrase ‘soft food’, this implies bland, boring and generally uninspiring food. However, this really doesn’t have to be the case!
What if we told you that you could have all the range and flavour of food but in a soft format? Due to the success of soft food posts on our Facebook page, we’ve launched a soft food recipe page here on our website for you to enjoy.
We are always looking for new recipes to add to this page, so if you have a soft food recipe you'd like to share, feel free to send it to us.
